 Backseat Drivers is an international collaboration of musicians from South Africa, Venezuela and The Netherlands. The band was founded in October 2011 when they came together with a common goal: To compose elaborate music they could indulge in and identify with.
The band composes a wide range of melodic and epic rock pieces, delving deep into emotions and allowing energetic release. The band makes extensive use of intricate bass lines that provide a solid foundation for killer drum beats and melodic elements that are drawn in by the guitars and vocals.
After just a few sessions together the band began to notice the potential in the music and they have since been rehearsing to bring out their first album, "Sounds Like An Open Window".
